You can … through the Angel Food Ministries program at the Burnt Hickory Church of Christ! By buying food from first rate suppliers at substantial volume discounts, Angel Food Ministries is able to provide families with approximately $60 worth of quality, nutritious food for $30. Each month’s menu is different and consists of fresh, frozen and packaged food. Generally, one box of Angel Food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost a month. There is no purchase limit for boxes of Angel Food and everyone can participate!

In addition to the signature box for $30, you can also purchase:
Senior/Convenience Box: Created for seniors or people on the go. Includes ten nutritionally balanced, fully cooked meals—just heat and serve. Typical cost: $28.
Meat, Vegetable and Fruit Specials: Each month’s menu contains several additional boxes of food offering a variety of meats and more. Typical cost: $20-$23.
If ordering online isn’t convenient for you, you can print the August Order Form and bring your completed order form and payment to the Burnt Hickory Church of Christ. You’ll find two mailboxes affixed to the brick wall underneath the drive-through overhang on the west side of the building. One mailbox contains menus, order forms and envelopes. The other is a locked mailbox where you can leave your order and payment. Payment is due at the time of your order. You may pay with cash, money order or food stamps. Personal checks are not accepted. If you’d like a receipt for your order, please come to the Burnt Hickory Church of Christ building on Sunday morning or Wednesday evening when our volunteers can receive your order and payment in person.
Angel Food is a great money saver for your family, but it is also a wonderful way for you to help someone you know. Just purchase a box on their behalf, give them the receipt, and tell them when and where to pick up their groceries.
