Contribution Statements Mailed Members statements of contributions given January through November 9, 2008, were mailed out on Tuesday, November 18.
A Community Christmas There are are labels available in the foyer for members to choose gift ideas for A Community Christmas. Members need to purchase the gifts, wrap them in solid color Christmas paper (any color), attach the gift labels, and bring them in for A Community Christmas on Sunday, December 7. Angel Food Ministries Don't forget to pick up November orders on Saturday, November 22, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the Teen Center. December orders will be due on December 7, for delivery on December 22. Visit the link on the home page for more information on Angel Food Ministries.
Women’s Retreat The retreat will be held at the Mountain Creek Inn at Callaway Gardens the weekend of February 20-21. This year’s theme is "Sweet Temptation." Contact Lauren Collins or Stephanie Patterson, if you would like to sign up or have any questions.
Gulf Coast Getaway 2009 College and Young Singles, if you plan to attend this years Gulf Coast Getaway in Panama City Beach, FL, please contact Don Wilczynski at dknoles1@aol.com. The cost will be approximately $100 and is due by December 1. The theme this year is "Awakening."
AGAPE 2008 Thanksgiving Appeal This Sunday, November 23, will be the Thanksgiving Appeal day for Georgia AGAPE. Every family is encouraged to participate in the special collection to support the work of this ministry to provide homes for children and to strengthen families. AGAPE depends upon us for a great response. Please come prepared to give generously in the Thanksgiving Appeal and help AGAPE to reach its goal of raising over $340,000! If you will not be present next Sunday, you are encouraged to still participate by giving your contribution to one of the shepherds, the church office, or by mailing it directly to AGAPE.
Bright Beginning Advisory Committee Nominations are now being accepted for Bright Beginnings Preschool Advisory Committee. Nomination forms and eligibility information are available at the information booth in the foyer. Return nomination forms to the box at the information booth by November 30. Thanksgiving & Praise Service The youth will lead a time of worship for everyone to proclaim our thanksgiving and praise to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 26, at 7:00 p.m. in the foyer. Classes will not meet that night.
Office Closed The church office will be closed on November 27 and 28, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Adoption Celebration Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 7, at 2:00 p.m. at the church building. You are invited to a celebration of the Donnell’s adoption of their son Keenan. In recognition of this joyous event, we will shower them with gift cards. Everyone is invited.
Ladies Book of the Month The December book to read for the Ladies Book of the Month Club is Christmas Pearl by Dorothea Benton Frank. This group is open to all ladies and will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the book.

Children's Teachers Needed Our children's Bible classes are growing and thriving and in need of some additional teachers for the winter quarter (December - February). Teacher and assistant opportunities are available in Nursery, Preschool and Elementary grades on both Sunday and Wednesday. All persons working directly with children are required to complete the online Child Protection Training and submit to a background check.
